Understanding the Schedule on Your Home Page

The new Scheduler on your Home Page gives you a real-time, integrated view of your practice’s appointments. You can create, view, and manage your appointments and blockouts all within Adit.

Feature Overview

1. Today Button

  • Function: Quickly jump back to today’s date from any point in the calendar.

  • How to Use:

    1. Click Today in the scheduler toolbar.

    2. The view instantly scrolls to today’s appointments.

2. Morning Huddle Button

  • Function: Displays a quick summary of the day’s appointments, production goals, and pending tasks.

  • How to Use:

    1. Click the Morning Huddle icon in the toolbar.

    2. Use the toggle button to switch between “Calendar View” and “Morning Huddle”. This lets you move seamlessly from your regular schedule view to a summary view.

    3. Review the team’s daily schedule, goals, and pending tasks before starting the day.

3. Available Slots & Customizing Time Intervals

  • Function: See available slots & Adjust the scheduler’s time scale (e.g., 10, 15, 30, or 45 minutes).

  • How to Use:

    1. Click the Time Interval button in the toolbar.

    2. Select your preferred time block length.

4. Search Button

  • Function: The calendar Search button helps you quickly locate appointments within the scheduler view.

  • How to Use:

    1. Click the Search icon in the calendar toolbar.

    2. Enter your search term:

      • Patient Name - to jump directly to that patient’s appointment.

      • Provider Name - to show appointments by provider.

      • Operator - to filter by a specific chair/room.

    3. The scheduler will filter the visible calendar to match your search criteria.

    4. Click on any result to open appointment details.



5. Settings Button - Show Appointment Details

  • Function: Toggle detailed appointment data (provider, type, status) on/off in the scheduler tiles. Allows you to control what information is displayed directly on each appointment.

  • How to Use:

    1. Click the Settings icon in the toolbar.

    2. Under Show Appointment Details, select the details you would like displayed.

  • You can choose from options such as Patient Name, Provider, Appointment Type, Status, and more.

  • Note: You can only select up to 3 options at a time for better readability.

  1. The scheduler will immediately update to show the chosen details on each appointment.



6. Settings Button – Apply Colors

  • Function: Apply EHR-synced colors for providers, appointment statuses, or appointment types.

  • How to Use:

    1. Click the Settings icon.

    2. Choose your preferred color mode.

  • Note: Color mapping follows EHR data. Adit only displays what your EHR provides.

7. Filtering Operatories

  • Function: Show or hide specific operatories in your view.

  • How to Use:

    1. Click Operatories in the toolbar.

    2. From the dropdown list:

      • Check/Uncheck operatories to show or hide them from your calendar view.

      • Drag and drop operatories within the dropdown to reorder how they appear on the calendar.

    3. The scheduler will immediately refresh to reflect your updated selection and order.

  • Note: Hidden operatories do not affect scheduling—they’re only removed from view.

8. Day/Week/Month View

  • Function: Switch between daily, weekly, or monthly scheduler views.

  • How to Use:

    1. Click Day, Week, or Month in the toolbar.

    2. The scheduler updates to the selected view.


9. View and Manage Appointments, Blockouts, & Operatories

  • Function: View, Create, Edit, or Delete the following:

    1. Appointments

    2. Blockouts

    3. Operatories

  • How to Use:

    1. Click Here for Appointments

    2. Click Here for Blockouts

    3. Click Here for Availabilities
