How to Create or Edit Availabilities in the Adit Scheduler

 The Availability feature in Adit lets practices define certain time blocks in their schedule where they can only allow for certain types of appointments to be booked. This allows practices to schedule efficiently and maximize their production.
Alert
Alert: Adit currently only writes availabilities back into CrystalPM and RevolutionEHR. If you have any other EHR you can create an availability in Adit, however it will not reflect in your EHR.

When to Use Availabilities

Use the Availability feature to:
  • Offer specific appointment types (e.g., Crowns, New Patient Exams) at preferred times
  • Restrict bookings to selected operatories and providers.
  • Establish recurring or one-time availability.

How to Create an Appointment

  1. Navigate to the Home Page Schedule
  2. Click on Any Open Slot on the Schedule
    1. Double-click on any open slot in the scheduler to open up the pop up.
    2. Select the Availability Tab
  3. Name your Availability
  4. Set the Date & Time
    1. Select the date
    2. Set the start and end time for the availability
    3. Set how often this availability should re-occur



  1. Set the Appointment Type

    1. Note: The appointment types that are shown in this dropdown are pulled from your EHR.

    2. Any services from online scheduling that were associated to these appointment types will also be mentioned below the appointment type field.

  1. Select Operatory & Provider

    1. Select the operatory and provider that will be associated with the appointment.

  2. Select Save and Create the Availability

    1. The availability will show up on the Adit Schedule with a green bar as seen below

How to Edit or Manage Availabilities

You can edit an existing availability by selecting the edit icon or delete icon
