How to Create or Edit Appointments in the Adit Scheduler
The new scheduler in Adit syncs with your EHR in real time. When you create or update an appointment in Adit, the changes are automatically written back to your EHR. Likewise, any updates made directly in your EHR will also reflect in Adit.
How to Create an Appointment
Navigate to the Home Page Schedule
Click on Any Open Slot on the Schedule
Double-click on any open slot in the scheduler to open up the pop up.

Select or Add a Patient
If creating an appointment for an existing patient, search for the patient’s name
If creating an appointment for a new patient, select the blue patient icon
Now enter the following details:
First & Last Name
DOB
Phone & Email
Gender
Marital Status


Set Appointment Date & Time
Select the appointment date
Set the start and end time

Select Operatory & Provider
Select the operatory and provider that will be associated with the appointment.
Select or Add a Patient
Select Treatment Codes (Optional)
To attach treatment codes to the appointment, click on Select Tx Code
In the pop up you will see two tabs:
Planned TX: Any treatments that are already on the patient’s treatment plan will appear here
Unplanned TX: This is just a general list of treatment codes that are pulled from your EHR. These are not in the patient’s treatment plan yet.
Search and select the codes you want to add
Select Save

Select Appointment Details
Appointment Type
For Example: New Patient Exam, Braces Consult, etc.
Appointment Status
For Example: Scheduled, ASAP, Broken, etc.
Confirmation Status
For Example: Confirmed, Unconfirmed, etc.
8. Save and Create the Appointment
How to Edit an Existing Appointment
You can edit existing appointments directly from the Adit Scheduler home page, including those originally created in your EHR.
You can edit an appointment using any of the following actions:
Move the appointment to another operatory by dragging it to another column
Extend or shorten the appointment by dragging the edges of the appointment
Edit the appointment details by clicking on the appointment itself
