Navigating and Customizing Tables in Adit
Overview
The updated Adit platform introduces smarter, more customizable tables to enhance how you interact with data. Whether you are viewing patient lists, appointment data, or forms, the improved tables are designed to support multitasking and offer maximum control over what you see and how you work.
What’s New
Feature | Description |
Save Views | Create and save multiple filtered or sorted views for future access. Perfect for switching between workflows (e.g., today’s appointments vs. pending forms). |
Reorder Columns | Drag and drop columns to rearrange them based on your workflow. |
Pin (Sticky) Columns | Keep essential columns - like “Patient Name” or “Action”- locked in view while scrolling horizontally. |
Continuous Scrolling | Scroll continuously without pagination interruptions. Data loads dynamically as you scroll, improving speed and usability. |
Side-by-Side List For Multi-tasking | When viewing a record (like patient forms), the patient list remains visible, allowing you to click through different patients to easily multi-task. |
Enhanced Filters | Enhanced Filters let you quickly narrow down your task view so you can focus on what matters most. Instead of scrolling through long task lists, you can apply filters. |
How to Save a View
This feature is helpful for users who frequently apply the same filters or column configurations and want to streamline their workflow.
Navigate to any table view (e.g., Patients, Forms, Appointments).
Apply the desired filters and column order under table settings.
Click on the three dots and click on Save View.
Name the view (e.g., “Today’s Submissions”) and click Save.
How to Pin or Reorder Columns
You can drag and drop columns to rearrange the table layout, or even make certain columns “sticky” by pinning them.
Hover over the column header.
Click and drag to move it to a new position.

Multitasking with List + Detailed Views
Clicking a record (e.g., a patient form or message) opens a side panel with details while the patient list remains visible. You can:
Review records one by one
Take actions having to returning to the list
Maintain workflow momentum
