How to setup a Voice Print

What is a Voice Print?

A Voice Print is a short recording of a user's voice that enables Adit Call Intelligence to identify who spoke on a call. Once created, Adit tags call to individual team members for accurate reporting and automated task assignment.

1. Set Up Your Voice Print — Web / Desktop

Prerequisites

  • A computer with a working microphone
  • Browser (allow microphone access)
  • Access to Call Intelligence

Steps

  1. Go to Call Intelligence → Preferences → Voice Print
  2. Select Use Microphone in your Computer
  3. When Chrome prompts, click Allow this time
  4. Click Record Me and read the passage shown on screen
  5. Click Stop Recording
  6. Use Play to review the recording
  7. Click Save to upload the Voice Print
  8. If needed, click Discard to retry

Verify Voice Print Status

  1. Go to Preferences → Voice Print
  2. Confirm status shows either Success or Failure
  3. If Failure, re-record using the steps above

2. Set Up Your Voice Print — Mobile App

This method is recommended if your computer lacks a microphone or if you prefer to let staff record using a mobile device.

Steps

  1. Open the Adit Mobile App
  2. Go to Settings → Voice Print
  3. Tap the + icon (top right) and select the user, then tap Done
  4. Hand the phone to the user
  5. Tap the microphone icon to start recording
  6. Read the displayed passage clearly
  7. Tap Stop when finished
  8. Tap Save to upload the Voice Print
  9. Optionally tap Play to review the recording

Note: Create Voice Prints Without Call Intelligence Access

Using the Mobile App, a user with app access can hand over their phone to other staff to record Voice Prints. This allows you to create Voice Prints for users who do not have Call Intelligence access.
