How to Create Patient Segments


Adit will allow you to create segments for patients. Once a segment is created, practices can use them to follow ups, mass texts and email campaigns

There will be a set of pre-defined segments created by Adit. You will have the option to create custom segments which will show under ‘Practice Lead Segments’.

All Patients With Due Date in 30 Days Without Next Appointment Scheduled

Next Appt = EMPTY; Recall Due Date <= 30 Days

All Patients With Due Date in 90 Days Without Next Appointment Scheduled

Next Appt = EMPTY; Recall Due Date <= 90 Days

All Patients with Last Appointment in 30 Days

Last Appt Age <= 30 Days

All Patients with Next Appointment in 90 Days

Last Appt Age <= 90 Days

Patient Re-Activation Campaign (Last Appt 6 Months Ago and No Next Appt Scheduled)

Next Appt = EMPTY, Last Appt Age <= 183 Days

Patient's Scheduled Today

Next Appt = Today



Adit Patient Segments - Available Filters



You can pick and choose any of the below filters to create custom segments


  1. Status - Single select between Active, Inactive or Both Active and Inactive

  2. Stage - Multiselect option between Scheduled, No Appt History, Never Showed, Completed and Won

  3. Age - Duration based filter on how long since the profile has been created

  4. Next Appointment - Time filter based on the next appointment date

  5. Last Appointment - Time filter based on the last appointment date

  6. Recall Due Date - Time filter based on the recall due date

  7. Balance Amount - Above, below and between filter for the balance amount

  8. Remaining Benefits - Above, below and between filter for the remaining benefits

  9. Primary Provider - Filter based on the primary provider name

  10. Secondary Provider - Filter based on the secondary provider name



How to send an SMS/Email to the the Patient Segments


You can click the action button against the segment to send an SMS or an email



You have the option to add variables and to update the content before you send an SMS
