Adit’s Patient Card is a one-stop place to find all the information that the Adit platform has about one of your patients. Because the Patient Card links together many of Adit’s other modules, it’s a convenient place to perform some of your most common tasks.
Accessing the Patient Card is easy! Start typing your patient’s name into the Patient Search box, which you can find at the top of any page within the Adit platform. Select the patient from the list of suggested matches, and their Patient Card will open on the right-hand side of your screen.
There are three main sections to the Patient Card: the top, Activity, and Patient Info.
The top section of the Patient Card contains the patient’s name, ID, location, gender, age, and date of birth. There are also icons to Call, Text, or Email the patient, and a notation of the patient’s last scheduled and next scheduled appointments.
The next section is for Activity related to the patient:
- Patient Forms
- Hygiene Status
- EHR Balance Due
- Adit Pay Balance
- Remaining Benefits
- Unscheduled Production
- Unscheduled Family Members
If you have Patient Forms enabled on your account, you can assign a Patient Form to a patient, or send them a reminder about a pending form.
If you have Adit Pay enabled on your account, you can see the patient’s balance and send a payment request.
If you have Practice Analytics enabled on your account, you can see their Hygiene Status, Remaining Benefits, and Unscheduled Production, as well as Follow Ups and Notes.
Follow Ups are also stored in this section, and you can create, edit, and log an attempt right from the Patient Card. Any notes logged regarding this patient, either manually or automatically by a Follow Up task, appears in the Notes section at the bottom.
The Patient Info section contains details about the patient that have synced over from your EHR software, including:
- Contact information (phone number, email, and address)
- Treatment due dates
- Preferred language
- Insurance information
- Balance due
- Permissions to email and text
The Family File lists all of the patient’s linked family members and highlights if they need an appointment scheduled soon.
