With Adit Voice, you can take and make calls on your computer or laptop with our softphone feature. However, if calls are not coming in on the laptop there are a couple of things to check, the Call Pop and the call flow.
Investigation of the Call Pop:
In the top navigation menu, click on the phone icon called Call Pop
Click the toggle switch to turn the softphone on, select the line from the dropdown menu, and click on Save
If the switch is gray with the button to the left, it is off.
If the switch is orange with the button to the right, it is on.
Make sure you are NOT on DND mode. If you are on DND mode, the Call Pop icon will be an orange circle with a “-” in it.
To turn it off, open the Call Pop and click on the DND button on the top right to turn it off
Investigation of Call Flow:
Navigate to your number’s call flow (click here to learn how to set up your call flow)
In the Ring or Simulring steps of your call flow, make sure your softphone’s extension or your user is selected to receive the calls.
If you are not sure which extension you softphone is, you can view on the top of the Call Pop
Click Update at the top of the page if you made any changes to your call flow
