Purchase a tracking number

Before we get started, please keep in mind that only the Owner-level and Manager-level users are able to purchase tracking numbers.

  1. Go to Settings 

  1. Select Number List from the menu.

  2. Find the “Tracking Numbers” section.

  3. Click “Order New”

    1. Select the location and country

  4. Now you need to search for a tracking number.

                  

  1. Please note when searching for available numbers, availability may be limited based on your area. If there is no availability for your desired area code or location, we recommend trying other area codes within the same vicinity or clicking the refresh button. 

  2. Select an available number

  3. Click Place Order

  4. Once completed, you will reach a prompt that will ask if you would like to track this tracking number. If you select yes, please read below:

  5. Assuming you want to track this tracking number, you will have to decide if you would like to use this number online or offline. If you would like to track offline, please skip ahead to step 13, otherwise proceed to the next step.

  6. If you intend to track this number online, please proceed through the prompt to establish where this number will be placed online.

  7. Once you have gone through the prompt of selecting where you intend to place the number, please Name your tracking number, establish where you want the calls to be forwarded, and click Next

  8. If you selected that you would like to place this number on your website, you will be prompted to select the Tracking Options for your website. For more information on this please refer to Set up a Tracking Number. Once you have selected your settings, please click Next.

  9. Please set your tracking preferences. You can choose to record inbound calls and set a call greeting here.

  10. Lastly, click Activate Number
