How to use Adit's softphone

With Adit’s softphone you can make and take calls from the computer. Allowing you to be able to work away from the phone and still be able to take any calls needed.


Notes: Softphone is only available if you have Adit Voice enabled.


To use the softphone:

  1. Click on the Call Pop icon on the top menu.

  2. On the pop up, click on the toggle to turn on the softphone, select the number for the line,  and click Save.

  3. With the Call Pop now up, you will be able to access a list of features:

    1. Call Logs: See all inbound and outbound calls, including missed calls and voicemails

    2. Dial Pad: Dial in a number to make a call

    3. Phone Book: See your patients and any number saved in your account

    4. Voicemails: View, listen, and archive all the voicemails you have received

    5. Faxes: Read and archive all the faxes you have received and sent out

    6. Call Override: Override your existing call flow for lunch, holidays, or unexpected closures. To learn more, click here

  4. To minimize the Call Pop if it is in the way, click on the X on the top right corner to hide it

  5. When an inbound call comes in, depending if you have the Call Pop up or hidden, you will be able to Accept or Decline the call

  6. To turn on Do Not Disturb, click on the -

  7. To turn off the softphone, click on the line and on the dropdown click on Turn Off Softphone
