Adit Voice has a built-in Call Flow Override so that you can create a temporary call flow without having to modify your normal flow. This is useful for planned holidays, unexpected office closures, and other situations where you need to change your call flow for a short time.
To establish the settings for override please proceed as follows:
Click on the Settings gear in the top right corner of your Adit platform.
In the Numbers menu, select Call Override.
Click the Edit Icon for the landline number you would like to adjust.
Toggle on the Call Override feature whenever you want to turn on Call Override.
Read the popup and click Okay
Select from one of the available override options:
Read Message: Type in a message and the system will read that message to callers in a robot-like voice.
Play Recording: Upload your own audio recording that the system will play to callers.
Call Forward: Calls will be forwarded to another phone number.
Click the Update button to save your changes.
Once you have set up your settings for Call Override, there are 3 ways to conveniently turn on Call Override.
On the web platform, under settings as shown above
On the Mobile App (iOS/Android)
Go to Settings
Tap on Call Override
Toggle on Call Override
Read the popup and click Override
Select which override option you want the calls to go through, and configure them to your situation.
Click on Update at the top right
On the web Softphone
Click on your softphone
Click on the gear icon
Toggle on Call Override
