How to Book Multiple Appointments For a Family in Online Scheduling

With Adit, managing family appointments is simple. This article walks through what patients will experience when booking an appointment online for their family members.

How To Book a Family Appointment

2. Choose Who You Are Booking For

       ○ Myself
       ○ Spouse
       ○ Child(ren)

3. If Booking For Children, Select How Many

Specify how many will be included in the booking (up to 5).

4. New or Existing Patient

Indicate whether you are booking for new patient(s) or for existing patient(s) 

5. Choose A Service

Select the type of service you’re booking for

6. Provide Insurance

Select whether or not you have insurance

7. Select Next 


8. Choose A Provider Preference

Select whether you prefer everyone in the family to see the same provider or if different providers are fine
InfoSame Provider for Everyone
  1. The system will book back-to-back appointments under the same provider for the entire family
  2. The total appointment time will be based on the number of family member multiplied by the duration for the service.
  3. For example: If a family of 4 is booking for a “New Patient Exam" that lasts 30 minutes each, the total appointment time will be for 2 hours.
    1. Adit will then show availability in the calendar based on 2 hour openings.




InfoDifferent providers is fine
  1. The system will book parallel appointments across multiple providers/operatories for the entire family. 
  2. The total appointment time can vary depending on the availability of each provider/operatory for that service.
  3. For example: If a family of 4 is booking for a“New Patient Exam” that lasts 30 minutes each:
    1. If there are 4 providers available at the same time, the total appointment time for the entire family will be 30 minutes
    2. If there are 2 providers available at the same time, the total appointment time for the entire family will be 1 hour

9. Select An Appointment Time

Select the date and time that works forthe family

10. Provide Patient Information

  1. Name
  2. DOB
  3. Phone
  4. Email
  5. Gender
  6. Marital Status

11. Complete the Booking

When ready, click on Book Appointment to confirm your booking.
On the confirmation screen, you will see the following:
  1. Details of the appointment
  2. An option to join the ASAP list and get notified if an earlier appointment becomes available
