Change your Voicemail recording

If you are trying to record your own voicemail greeting , please first read this article: Record your own greeting or voicemail


Most businesses prefer to have a personalized voicemail recording that tells callers where they  have called and why they have reached your voicemail.  It’s important to make sure that recording is up-to-date so as not to cause confusion.

1. Log in to Your Adit Account

  • Navigate to the Adit login page.

  • Enter your credentials and access the dashboard.


2. Go to the Settings



Click the Gear Icon (Settings).





3. Select Phone System Under the Voice menu.



4. Select the Location


  • Click on the Location Name under the blue left panel.

  • The section expands and displays related settings.


5. Access the Call Flow


  • On the Top, you will see two numbers:

  • One assigned to Fax

  • One assigned to Landline

  • Click on the landline number to open the call flow editor.


6. Scroll to the Bottom to Find the Voicemail option


In a simple call flow, the Voicemail section is located toward the bottom of the call flow page.


7. Update the Voicemail


There are two options for updating voicemail:



Option A: Read Message

  • Select Read Message.

  • Enter the text you want the caller to hear.

  • The system will read the text using a robotic text-to-speech voice.


Option B: Play Recording

  • Select Play Recording.

  • Choose a pre-recorded audio file from your Audio Library.

  • If the file is not yet uploaded:

  • Upload it to the Audio Library first.

  • Then select it for the voicemail.


8. Save the Voicemail Settings



  • After updating the voicemail section, click Save inside the voicemail section.


9. Update the Call Flow


  • Scroll  to the bottom of the call flow page.

Click the Update icon/button to finalize the call flow changes.
