CareCredit: How to Send An Application Directly to a Patient

CareCredit: How to Send An Application Directly to a Patient

There are two different ways to process an application/transaction for a patient.
  1. You can use the QuickText option to send a financing request to the patient directly so they can submit an application on their own device.
  2. Or you can open up the CareCredit Portal directly from within Adit and submit an application on behalf of the patient.
California Healthcare professionals may not submit credit applications for patients and should use the text to pay flow. Providers can accept the CareCredit card as payment.
In this section, we will go over how to send a financing request directly to the patient.
  1. There are two places in the Adit App where you can initiate a financing request text message to be sent to the patient.
    1. From Quick Text
      1. Go to the top navigation and click on the QuickText button.
      2. Then select the financing icon
    2. From the Patient Card
                              1. Go to the top navigation and type in the patient’s name in the search bar

                              2. Select the patient from the search results and open up the patient card.
                              3. Under the Patient Info tab, select Finance Request

      b. Once you select finance request, a pop up will appear.
            i. If you’re coming from quick text, search for the patient’s name.
ii. If you’re coming from the patient’s card, the patient’s information will automatically be pre-filled.
iii. Enter in the financing amount.
iv. Each message will be customized based on the patient’s Batch QuickScreen results

            v. Once you send the text message, the patient will receive a customized link that redirects them to a CareCredit page where they can complete an application or transaction.

                  1. If the patient is not pre-approved yet, they will select Check Now to go through a pre-qualification
before they can proceed to an application.

                  2. If the patient is pre-approved already, they will select View Offer to submit a financing application. Once
their application is approved, then the patient will proceed with completing the transaction.

                  3. If the patient is an existing cardholder, they will select Pay Now and proceed with using their CareCredit
card to complete the transaction. Click Here to Learn More about how to manage your CareCredit
