What does my Adit for Chrome extension's status mean?

What does my Adit for Chrome extension's status mean?

Your Adit for Chrome extension will show different statuses throughout the day, both in the extension itself and within your Adit platform.

Connected
The Adit for Chrome extension is logged in successfully and connected to both Adit and your EHR/PMS. Any actions you take in Adit or your EHR/PMS on this workstation will sync in real time.

EHR Idle
The Adit for Chrome extension is logged in successfully and connected to Adit, but not connected to your EHR/PMS. This does not necessarily mean something is wrong; your EHR/PMS could be idle, not in use, or logged out. If you see this status, you should check that the workstation is currently in use, and that the user is accessing your EHR/PMS through a Chrome browser window. Any actions you take in Adit or your EHR/PMS on this workstation will sync, but not in real time - they may be delayed by at least 1 hour.

Disconnected
The Adit for Chrome extension is not logged in or not connected to Adit. This could be because the computer is off or has no internet access, or the extension may need to be logged back in. If you see this status, check that the workstation is currently in use and has internet access. Then, check the Adit for Chrome extension to ensure it is logged in and has a location selected. Any actions you take in Adit or your EHR/PMS on this workstation will not sync.  For instructions on how to reconnect your Adit for Chrome extension, please see How To: Reconnect your Adit for Chrome Extension.
