Manage Existing Treatment Plans

Manage Existing Treatment Plans

There are several actions that you can take on an existing Treatment Plan, but they are limited based on the current status of the Treatment Plan. These actions can be found in the far right column of the Treatment Plans list.
  1. Send – a right-facing arrow; available to plans in Draft status. Brings up a window where you can send the plan to the patient.
  2. Remind – a circular arrow that looks like a clock; available to plans in Requested status. Brings up a window where you can send the plan to the patient again.
  3. Cancel – a circle with an x in it; available to plans in any status but Accepted, Archived. Cancels the request; canceled requests are automatically deleted after 90 days.
  4. Download – an arrow pointing down at a line; available to plans in Accepted or Pending Sign status. Downloads a PDF of the Treatment Plan.
  5. Archive – an arrow pointing down inside a box; available to plans in Accepted status. Moves the plan from Submitted to Archived view so that it is out of your way.
  6. Unarchive – an arrow pointing up inside a box; available to plans in Archived status. Un-archives the plan so it returns to its previous Accepted status.

Edit a Treatment Plan

You can edit a Treatment Plan up until the point that the patient submits the completed plan to the practice. To edit a Treatment Plan, click on the Treatment Plan Name. If the plan is in Draft or Requested status, it will open the plan builder so that you can make changes, then re-send the plan to the patient.  If the plan is in any other status, the patient has already submitted it and it can no longer be edited. You will need to cancel the plan and create a new one.
