How to Restrict Employees from Accessing Adit Outside of Your Practice
Adit allows you to prevent staff members from accessing the platform outside of the areas in which you specify. For example, you can set it up so that staff members can only access the Adit platform when in your practice.
Please keep in mind that only Owner Level users can manage this.
Here is how to set this up:
Select the Settings gear icon in the top right corner
Select Organization
Go to Restrict IP Address. When toggled on, only added IP addresses will be whitelisted and can access the adit app. When toggled off, any IP address can access the Adit App.
Select Add and enter in the IP address you want to give access to. If you do not know your IP address, please scroll to the bottom of this articl
Once added, that IP address is whitelisted and can access the Adit app. Please note, if a user tries to access your Adit account from an IP address not on the list, they will get the following error.
How to find your IP address
If you don't know the IP Address of the user you are trying to add, have them go to https://whatismyipaddress.com/ and copy the address found next to IPv4. For example: 29.234.938.23
