How to Create a Subscription Plan

Subscription plans a great feature to utilize if you have an In-House Membership Plan and want to charge patients on a recurring basis. You can easily collect the patient’s card to save on file and start collecting payments!

To create a subscription plan, please do the following:

In the top navigation bar, select Subscriptions

  1. Select Create Plan

  2. Select a Patient

    1. Patient Name

    2. Subscription Plan Name

    3. Description

  3. Fill Out the Plan Details

    1. Frequency

      1. How often the installments will occur (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly)

    2. Start Date

      1. The date the payment plan will begin

    3. Expiry Date

      1. The date the payment plan ends

    4. Deposit (optional)

      1. The upfront amount that is charged immediately when the plan is activated

    5. Recurring Amount

      1. How much the installment amount is


4. Fill Out the Payment Details

  1. There are two ways to add a card on file:

    1. Manually Add Credit Card

      1. This option allows you to manually add the patient’s credit card on file

      2. Select Add Card

      3. Enter in the card details

      4. Select Add

    2. Request Credit Card from Patient

      1. This option allows you to send a text message to the patient with a link for them to add a card on file 

      2. Select how you want to send this request, either via SMS, Email, or Both

      3. Confirm the message in each template

  1. Activate or Initiate the Plan

    1. If you manually added the credit card, select Activate

      1. This will automatically activate the plan with the card on file

    2. If you are requesting the credit card from the patient, select Send

      1. This will send the link to the patient for them to add their card on file and active the plan
