Growth Report

Growth Report

The growth report allows you to track your patient loss or gain over time.

Go to Practice Analytics > Reports > Growth.  Choose the timeframe you would like to view in the top right.

By tracking New patients, Recaptured patients, and Lost patients we can show your Net Growth number in any timeframe you choose.
The calculation is New Patients + Recaptured Patients - Lost Patients = Net Growth
Instead of only tracking new patients added to your practice, with the growth report you can get the full scope of your practice growth.

New Patients are any patients completing their first appointment in your EHR.
Recaptured Patients are any patients who were considered Lost and then were added back for an appointment.
Lost Patients are divided into two categories in Adit.
      1. Lost (inactivity) - Patients who have not completed an appointment within 18 months. (this is an adjustable timeframe within Practice Analytics > Preferences.  There you can change the timeframe either to 12 months or 24 months if you prefer)
      2. Lost (status change) - Patients who have been marked as inactive in your EHR.

A few things to consider
If you have recently mass inactivated patients from your EHR it will affect your data.  It may be better to choose a larger timeframe in this case to get the most accurate reading for Net Growth.
If you like the growth report check out Dashboards > Growth.  The second data field on that page allows you to see 12 months, 24 months or 36 months at a time for growth data.
