Create an Automatic Payment Reminder

Payment reminders are a quick and convenient way to let patients know they have a remaining balance, and allow them to pay online.

To Create a Payment Reminder:

  1. Navigate to the Adit Pay module.

  2. In the top navigation menu, select Payment Reminders.  If you don’t see this option in the menu, click the three dots to view the rest of the menu options.

  3. Click +Add to create a new reminder.

  4. Fill out the following fields:

    1. Reminder Name: give the reminder a unique name so you can identify it later.

    2. Send Via: would you like the reminder to be sent via text message, email or both?

    3. When to Send After Request Date: how soon after the initial payment request should the reminder be sent?

    4. Time of Day: what time of day would you like the reminder to go out?

    5. Edit Message: customize the message text for either the text or email.  Use the Variables & Links on the right side of the message to pull patient and payment details for a more personalized patient experience.

  5. Click the Save button.
