Check a Patient's Outstanding Adit Pay Balance

The patient card makes it easy to manage a patient’s details all in one place.  

 

Here is how to see a patient's outstanding balance from Adit Pay:


  1. To open up a patient’s card, type your patient’s name into the Search box, which you can find at the top of any page within the Adit platform.

  2. Select the patient from the list of suggested matches, and their Patient Card will open on the right-hand side of your screen

  3. In the activities tab, you can see the summary of the patient’s Adit Pay Balance that is due

  4. Click on Adit Pay Balance,, and a page will open showing additional details 

  5. At the top of the card, you can see any current payment requests that are still open.

    1. Request Date: the date the payment was requested

    2. Amount: how much was requested


  1. In the next section you can see the payment history. The payment entries will display the following columns:

    1. Paid Date

      1. The date the payment was made

    2. Paid Amount 

      1. Amount paid

    3. Status

      1. The current status of the payment

        1. Paid

        2. Refunded

        3. Partially Paid

        4. Expired (The payment request was not paid before the time limit set in Payment Request under Preferences option in Adit Pay Module and can be resent, cancelled, or merged)

    4. Method

      1. The method of payment used (card or cash)

  2. You can click on the show more button to load additional payments if needed
