Check a Patient's Appointment Information

The patient card makes it easy to manage a patient’s details all in one place.  

 

Here is how to see a patient's appointment information:


  1. To open up a patient’s card, type your patient’s name into the Search box, which you can find at the top of any page within the Adit platform.

  2. Select the patient from the list of suggested matches, and their Patient Card will open on the right-hand side of your screen

  3. On the card, there are three areas where you can see the patient’s appointment information.

    1. Last Visit Box: tells you information about their last appointment

    2. Next Visit Box: tells you information about their next upcoming appointment

    3. Hygiene Status Box: tells you information about their hygiene status and if it is overdue

  4. These are the following details you can see in the Last/Next Visit Boxes

    1. Appointment Date and Time

    2. Appointment Type (Restorative or Hygiene)

    3. Appointment Status 

      1. If you’re viewing Last Visit, these are the types of statuses you can see

        1. Completed

        2. Broken

      2. If you’re viewing Next Visit, these are the types of statuses you can see

        1. Unscheduled

        2. Overdue

        3. Scheduled

        4. Confirmed

  5. In the Hygiene Status box, you can see the following hygiene statuses:

    1. Hygiene Overdue

    2. Hygiene Not Sc

    3. Hygiene Scheduled

  6. If you click on any of these three boxes, the appointment details page will show up.

    1. Depending on where you selected, this detailed page will populate with certain filters. For example:

      1. Clicking on Last Appointment will only show the appointments that are dated in the past

      2. Clicking on Next Appointment will only show the appointments that are in the future

      3. Clicking on Hygiene Status will only show the hygiene related appointments

  7. Each appointment slot can be collapsed to save space or extended to show additional details of the appointment. When looking at the details, you can see the following fields:

    1. Provider(s): The dentist or hygienist associated 

    2. Production: the amount of production associated

    3. Status: the status of the appointment 

    4. Confirmation: whether or not the patient has confirmed the appointment

    5. Created Date: when this appointment was created

    6. Description: any notes of the appointment

    7. Scheduled Procedures: treatments that are scheduled
