If a form has been assigned to a patient but no longer needs to be submitted, you should archive the form request. This removes the form from the patient's form list and reduces confusion. Common reasons why a form may no longer be required include if the patient filled out a paper copy in person or submitted the form through a public form link on your website.
You can archive a patient form within the Adit platform at any point within the form cycle, including after the form has been submitted and approved.
Be sure to archive form requests if you no longer need the patient to submit that form! Otherwise, the patient will continue to receive your automated form reminders and to see that form in their form list when they go to submit any other forms.
Form Requests can be archived from three locations around the Adit platform:
- While assigning a form, in the Form Request flow.
- On the Patient Forms tile within the Patient Card.
- From the Requested tab in the Patient Forms module.
To archive a form request, locate the form request in one of the locations listed above, then click the Archive icon beside that form.
To archive a patient form that has already been submitted or imported:
- Navigate to the Patient Forms module.
- Click on the appropriate tab for All, Requested, Submitted, or Imported forms.
- Locate the form.
- Click the Archive icon to the right of the form.
Once archived, the form will no longer appear in the Requested, Submitted, or Imported tabs in the Patient Forms module, or anywhere else with in the Adit platform. You can still access the form in the Archived tab, and unarchive it if needed.
To unarchive a patient form:
- Navigate to the Patient Forms module.
- Click on the Archived tab.
- Locate the form.
- Click the Unarchive button.
