  1. What is Adit Pay?
    Adit Pay is a convenient payment processing solution that allows your practice to manage your payments all within one platform. You can see an overview of all patients with pending balances, send payment requests, initiate refunds, & automate payment reminders. You can easily send a quick link to patients to pay their balance online, or process credit cards in person with a terminal.

  4. What are the major details I need before signing up for Adit Pay?

    For Business Type - Individual (United States & Canada)

      • Owner-Level access in Adit

      • Business Legal Name

      • Owner’s Full SSN

      • Driver’s License Picture (JPG or PNG)

      • Bank account details - (A/c Holder Name, A/c Number & Routing Number)

    For Business Type - Company (United States)

      • Owner-Level access in Adit

      • EIN Number (Employer Identification Number)

      • Business Legal Name (As per IRS Form for the mentioned EIN)

      • Owner's Full SSN

      • Bank Account Details - (A/c Holder Name, A/c Number & Routing Number)

  5. I am trying to set up my Adit Pay account, but it says that my access is restricted. Why is that?
    You can only create/Set Up an Adit Pay Account if you have owner-level permissions. Please contact the Owner Level User to start the set up!
  6. Can I use Adit Pay in Canada?
    Yes, Adit Pay is currently available in the US and Canada. 
  7. Do I have to buy a terminal to use Adit Pay?
    No, you do not have to buy a terminal to use Adit Pay! It is highly recommended to buy one since it is the only way to accept in office payments, however you can still only use the text-to-pay and Manual Card Entry feature and accept payments online!
  8. Can I use another terminal from my previous payment processor?
    Currently the Terminals that can be used with Adit Pay are the S700 Card Reader & BBPOSWise E.

  10. How long does it take for me to receive my funds from Adit Pay?

    Based on the selected Payout Schedule in your Adit Pay Account (Daily, Weekly, or Monthly), the funds collected during that specific time frame are processed and sent out accordingly.

    Once the payout is processed by the platform, it may take up to 2 business days for the funds to be deposited into your bank account.

  13. Types of Payment Method
    Adit provides 4 Payment Methods to process/collect Payment from Patient's:
    1. Text to Pay - Request Payment via Text/Email
    2. In Office Payment - Take Payment with Terminal
    3. Manual Card Entry - Take Payment without Terminal
    4. Offline Payment - Take Payment via Cash/Check
  14. Where can my patients use a Text-To-Pay link?
    You can send a Text-to-Pay link to any patient, but for them to access the link they must be physically located in one of the following countries:
    1. United States
    2. Canada
    3. Puerto Rico
    4. Bahamas
    5. India
    6. Philippines
  15. Does Adit Pay write into my PMS? 
    Yes, depending on your software, the payment activity will be written into the Patient Ledger and Communication Logs/journal. Adit Pay can integrate with the following EHR/PMS Softwares:

  16. How long does it take for the Payment to Post in the Patient Ledger?

    Payments made through Adit Pay will post into the Patient Ledger in your EHR/PMS within 5 - 10 minutes.
  17. Is Adit Pay HIPAA and PCI DSS Compliant ?
